Boring Legal Stuff
1. Our fixed prices are for residential properties only, industrial and commercial properties are charged on a per client basis due to the increased complexity of work.
a. Occasionally, access to a drain may need to be made in an invasive way. This can result in a surcharge of around £15, but will not exceed £35. This is rare and will not be carried out without permission from the client.
b. Business properties and factory prices are variable in price. Often, they are the same price as the residential solutions (as listed above). However, they can occasionally result in an additional cost due to size and/or difficulty. 3. Our warranty for unblocks is 6 months. The terms of this warranty are listed below:
a. We will unblock a drain that becomes blocked again in spite of our previous successful unblocking of the drain within 6 months.
b. If we find any wipes during a later unblock process, we will charge you in line with our fixed price service list, which for a drain unblock stands at £109 including VAT.
c. The client will be made aware of term 3.b before any revisit occurs and agrees to term 3.b in line with us revisiting the property.
d. The products that we will charge for a repeat unblock if found are listed: makeup wipes, sanitary products, wipes labelled as “flushable” and nappies adult/child.
e. Damage to the drain that occurs after our first unblocking is not covered by the warranty. Meaning that if a drain is damaged within the 6 months of us unblocking, it we will not unblock it free of charge. Whether by client negligence or another cause, we will not unblock it. Damage includes, but is not limited to: a collapse within the drain, a disturbance in the drainage run or a crack within the drain.
f. If the drain before unblocking is not in good working order, meaning it has preexisting damage, it is not covered under our warranty.
g. If roots infiltrate the drain in the warranty period and causes a blockage, this is not covered under our warranty.
h. In the event that we charge for a drain that does need unblocking again within our warranty period, the 6 month warranty time limit resets from the date that the next charged unblock occurs.
4. We reserve the right to charge for a drain issue diagnosis under our “no fix no fee”.
a. Meaning if we cannot unblock your drain, but through jetting it we identify there is an issue outside the boundary of your property, such as a damaged main drain, a blocked drain at a neighbouring premises or a blocked main drain, then in the aforementioned instance we reserve the right to charge you for our service.
b. If our diagnosis of the problem turns out to be incorrect upon further inspection of the utilities board, we will refund you any fee you paid for our services. You will be required to provide proof such as letter or statement from utilities stating that the problem is not theirs.
c. If we cannot unblock the drain due to the blockage being impassable, we will not charge you anything for our services.
